Asia Pacific Superyachts (APS) has recently reported several considerable changes to policy for visiting yachts to Indonesia which, the company state, is set to dramatically improve the ease of cruising in the region.

Six changes were announced:

One of the most significant changes to policy was undoubtedly the fact that local clearances are to be abolished, making it necessary to clear only at first and last port of call. APS Indonesia comment, “This is a huge change and APS Indonesia has protested long and hard against this and we are thrilled to finally have this actioned.”

They continue, “We consider this the biggest change to Indonesia's foreign yacht policy and are excited to see how it all translates in reality during the coming years.”
